Leaving the nest...

Another milestone.
My daughter's acceptance letter arrived.
I felt so happy for her.
Then, it hit me.
She'll leave.
I felt like crying.

This is all she ever wanted..

Of course, I've always known that one day they'll leave the nest,
but I didn't expect to feel so emotional about it.
She'll pave the road for her siblings and
then we'll be two again.
